Our Namesake :

Carl PerkinsJackson was the home of Carl Perkins, song writer and international rockabilly star. While Carl Perkins may have been an international superstar and music entertainer, locally he was a civic minded patron and one of the  founders of the Exchange Club - Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse.
